The Deluge

So, food prices are going to remain high for the next 10 years, the Farm Bill was so bad they took two attempts to pass it, and food imports are set to top $1 trillion.

As Steve McCroskey says in the 1980 classic Airplane!, it looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Or at least to stop blogging.

But that’s because I’ve been a little busy. Over the next few days, in order to avoid a deluge of posts today, I’ll write about what happened when I went to Washington to testify about the World Bank, about multilingual adventures and, yep, the Farm Bill.
