I am proud to be an American. There uis no other way to describe it. I was born to walk and speak among the free. If I had to do it anywhere else in this magnificent and majestic world, I would shurely be killed, for this I know is true. Being free is never free... Foe someone,.. somewhere... has died to make this be true...Freedom is a heartbeat,... past from one soul.. to another..In the belief that all men,..(and Women)...are created equaly...with the blessing of the Human race...for we are all indivisible, in our own special way. To be an American is a tribute to the rest of the world... that all men (and Women) can come together for humanity because of our humanity and understanding...The universal truth is universal...
Love not what this country can do for you, but love what you can do for this country...

Our Earth is a rare gem in this galaxy and cares deeply for all of her life forms. I look forward to disclosure and what that means for your role in our world. om namo maitreya, om namo maitreya, om namo sangaya. blessings to all way showers.

Congratulations to you and to us to have you on board. It's a complicated country but I'm glad to know you'll be able to vote now!

I enjoyed your interview with Civil Eats and excerpted it on my blog, Sustainable Grub. I agree with your statement that food may be closer to sustainability than any other sector of the economy, and it gave me hope to hear you say it, too, especially in an otherwise dark week for our democracy. Keep on.

Congratulations and gratitude to you Raj!

I only just discovered your existence last night listening to your KQED Common Wealth Club presentation. I was so grateful to hear your perspective that so closely mirrors my own. Your enthusiasm propelled me to look you up, read and respond to this blog. That is a first for me as I am resistant to engaging in the endless stream of words that spill across the internet! Your words, on the other hand are sparkling with thoughtfulness and inspire engagement.
Today I will be taking a little trip to my local bookstore to pick up your book.

Welcome to and thank you for joining the ever evolving melting pot!

"Not least because if in being democratic I am arrested, I won’t get deported back to Britain."

Well, I think you've amply answered my earlier question as to why you underwent naturalization. Fair play! I'm wondering what my situation would be, as a US/UK citizen, should I choose to exert my democratic rights to the same extent ... There's only one way to find out, I guess!

Glad to have your mind officially among the citizenry. (Although, I would have traded your citizenship in a heartbeat).
Thank you for your contribution. I have long had an ideology of generosity and been confused by prices that seem to devalue everything that goes into the product. How can citizens more actively put this ideology into practice?

Yeah, well, good luck with that Mr. Patel. You have more faith in America's potential than I do. I wish you all the best.

Congratulations Raj!
We are very glad to have you on board. Welcome to the state of being permanently conflicted-- proud and ashamed, lucky and appalled. We'll need your help to change a thing or two, so gratitude for even wanting to join the team.
