Indian govt wants to hand Walmart 1bn customers. Indians have a better idea. http://t.co/brNMNbl1
I sense India might become a sort of Waterloo for the likes of Wal-Mart, Monsanto, etc. India’s depth of vitality and reverence for the natural order of things will make it a difficult country to subdue or hoodwink, at the end of the day.
India might well prove to be a model case by which the world will learn how better to throw off pernicious corporate campaigns.
In many countries big supermarkets boast to create employee, but there are not statitics about how many employee are lost in the region on account of pressure on the supplay chain, use own brand in many products, clousure of diferent stores, etc.
I wish indian people pressure have result.
