I was not aware of the good investigative reportage being conducted out there by Consumers International on behalf of ag workers and consumers. Chemical poisoning of workers and insecticide spills which kill the waterways are deriguer for multinationals. Same old corporate clap-trap from Del Monte, Grupo Acon, and their ilk. Hope Tesco is as good as their word regarding labor reviews.
Ok so what can a person do about this…don’t buy Dole products? It is so disturbing but what can we DO?
